So.........I am doing a 24 hour silence to raise money for the Ocean Stars Trust which has been set up to provide relief to victims of the Tsunami in Sri Lanka and victims of the recent armed conflict. 

As most of you will know it is rather an unlikely event that I would remain quiet for anything more than 5 minutes, so this is going to be quite a challenge! With the help of family and friends I will be under constant supervision during the silence to ensure that I really don't make a noise!

Since it’s beginnings in the early days after the tsunami hit Sri Lanka on Boxing Day 2004, Ocean Stars has raised over £100,000 to help those affected. More recently, the needs have changed to include families affected by the recent civil conflict.
