My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I'm running this year's London Marathon to raise money for I-CAN, a charity that supports children with speech, language and communication difficulties. As many of you close to me know, my godson, Oli was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum. He is one of my favourite small people, and I love him hugely! Having seen first hand how important support for both children with communication difficulties and their families can be, I really wanted to be able to raise money for a such a worthwhile cause. Please, please sponsor me.....I know a lot of you have dug deep in previous years, but this is a cause pretty close to me. And if you can't...then send me a good luck message, or even better a top running tune for the playlist....26.2miles is a LONG way!!!!!!

I CAN is the children's communication charity. We are the only UK-wide charity that supports children's communication skills, the springboard from which children learn, achieve and make friends. I CAN works to foster the development of speech, language and communication skills in all children with a special focus on those who find this hard: children with a communication disability.
