Hello!
Thank you for making it all the way here - it'd be a shame not to sponsor me after all that effort wouldn't it? Go oooooon. Do it. There are, happily, even three really good reasons to sponsor me:
a) I'm not a runner. Tthis 13 miles is going to be nasty nasty nasty. I actually started training at the beginning of the year cause I was, and am, so scared of the pain.
a) My friend Tom bet me I couldn't raise £1000. Ladies and gentlemen, sounds like a challenge to me. And just think, if 100 of you gave £10 I could do it.
c) People & Planet - a Tremendous cause! If you've ever thought there might be something in the - give the fisherman a fishing rod and you feed him for life - thing, then please sponsor campaigning - it makes a real and lasting difference to the root causes of poverty, human rights and climate change. But it's difficult to fund, and like lots of small charities P&P really need the income from sponsored events. P&P also introduces hundreds of students and young people to something other than where to get the cheapest pint, and tools to make change happen - I wouldn't be the person I am without P&P. Truth be told.
