Story

Hello generous friends and family

We have squeezed ourselves into running shorts and decided to wheeze our way through 10k's of torture to raise money for PSP association. As many of you know Kate's Dad died from this disease 3 months ago so we are desperately trying to raise money and awareness. Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (or PSP)  involves the progressive death of neurons in the brain. It affects balance, mobility, vision, speech and the ability to swallow, leaving many sufferers eventually unable to walk, feed themselves or communicate effectively with the world around them.

Due to the rarity of this disease (it currently affects about 10,000 people in the UK) the charity has a relatively low profile and subsequently is seriously under-funded. We would be really grateful if you could help us raise some money - any donation, no matter how small will make a big difference to the fantastic work the charity does!.

On behalf of the three of us, thank you so much for your support and we will keep you up dated with our progress! The run takes place on Sunday 11th July so please feel free to come down and cheer us on!

Thank you!!
