I've been volunteering for Children 1st for 2 years now, and would love if you could sponsor me to help them yet again!

I am running:

the Glasgow University 10km FunRun on the 21st of March at Garscube Complex, Glasgow (Completed in 63mins on quite a boggy course- it was like cross country, mud all up my legs! The final 1km was either in mud or uphill. Enjoyed it though!)

the IGNIS ASSET Management Women's 10km on the 10th May at Bellahouston Park, Glasgow (Completed in 60.54 seconds beginning and ending from Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. As it was raining when I left the flat, I ran with my waterproof jacket on, however as the race began the sun broke through and I was super hot by the end of the hour- big thanks to Alix for propping me up att the finish line! Enjoyed it though, and am confident about the 1/2 marathon in September- may even run a few before the day comes along! Thanks to everyone for your support so far!)

and the Great Scottish Run 1/2 Marathon race on the 6th of September beginning in George Square, Glasgow

Children 1st provides refuges for Children and their families in various areas around Scotland, who are victims of domestic or sexual abuse. The running of the centres mean that children can drop in, and spend time with counsellors to talk through their problems, or just relax and take part in the activities.
