My name is Kate, I am 24 years old, married to my lovely hubby Ben for almost 5 years now! We have two gorgeous children, Ollie who is 4 and Chloe who is 2.

After having children I decided to take up running to get fit again. I started off only being able to run to the nearest bus stop, then I trained for the race for life and completed a 5k race. Now I am hooked, I have run quite a few 10k races including Crawley and Littlehampton, the Great South run (10 miles) and a few half marathons including the Barns Green, Hastings and Bournemouth.

In April 2010 i will be running the Virgin London Marathon for the first time! I have chosen to raise money for the YMCA because I worked at the Horsham Y Centre last year and I feel they do a brilliant job to encourage, support and challenge young people to become all that they can.
