On the 3rd Sept I will be part of a 26 strong team, taking part in a 5km race in Hyde Park.  It is an all women event.  It will be the second time I have run in this event and this year I hope to raise £500.

I am running for Connect - the communication disability network.  Connect is a small national charity whose vision is a world where people living with aphasia find opportunity and fulfilment.  Aphasia is a communication disability that usually arises from stroke but which can also be caused by brain injury and tumour.  People with aphasia may find it difficult to speak, write, understand language and use numbers.
