Flora London Marathon 2008 · 13 April 2008 ·

EVERY 90 SECONDS someone in the UK is admitted to hospital with an acquired brain injury (ABI). There are many possible causes, such as a fall, a road traffic accident, an assault, a tumour or a stroke. A brain injury can happen to anyone, at any time. When it does, we're here to help

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Most of you won't be too surprised that I'm running a marathon, but you'll also realise that it's a lot bigger deal than when I did it a few years ago...

Three years ago I had an accident which resulted in a head injury and although I'm lucky to be able to pretty much carry on my life as normal (with a little bit extra sleep than most people need!) I thought you'd all understand why I'd like to raise some money for Headway.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Headway - the brain injury association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
