My name is Kate Waller and I am a friend of the Wellingborough Home Farm Trust (HFT) Friends Group. HFT provides care for adults with learning disabilities.

I am running the Great North Run for HFT to try and raise awareness of the charity as well as support HFT's work. My brother is currently supported full time by HFT in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. He is very happy, settled and supported in his home at HFT and is provided with exciting, varied opportunities.

This is my first half marathon and I am hugely excited and looking forward to the event!
