Story

On 27 April, together with a group of my friends, I’m abseiling 100ft from the top of the Women’s Centre at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford to raise money for the hospital’s new cancer treatment centre.

Yes, you heard right! Me, Little Miss Absolutely Terrified of Heights, is planning to abseil off the top of a six storey high building! I seriously think I’ve gone absolutely bonkers, but its all for a very good cause, and given that one of my favourite uncles has cancer it’s a cause that is very close to my heart (which is why I decided to do this despite my deathly fear of heights).

I’m trying to raise as much money as possible, so I would really appreciate it if you could spare even just £1 or two!

So please dig deep guys, it’s all in the name of a good cause, and I’m putting my life on the line here!!  (Okay, well not exactly, but I’m certainly facing up to my massive fear of heights!).

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Charitable Funds will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
