We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in the Great South Run to raise awareness and much needed funds for the charity Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research.

Their unique team of researchers and doctors, volunteer fundraisers and businesses are united in their determination to beat blood cancers.

By investing in research across the UK they ensure that all blood cancer patients receive the very best treatment at a leading local hospital.

The equation is simple; the more money raised equals more lives saved.

For the LLR's life-saving work to continue they urgently need your support.

Around 28,500 people are diagnosed with a blood cancer in the UK every year.

I shall be running in Loving memory of my beautiful niece Becca who passed away on 31/12/10 at the tender age of 23. She had been fighting against Hodgkins Lymphoma for over three years. Despite all she went through she remained cheerful and positive to the end. A truly inspirational person who touched the hearts of all she met.

Please share this with family and friends who may also want to support the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research charity.
