**UPDATE: I completed it!! It may have taken 7 hours (in direct sunlight, so slightly sunburnt!), but I did it. I'm still trying to find out if I beat Jo Brand or not!**
For some mad reason, after watching the 2004 event, I decided that I wanted to take part in the 25th London Marathon. I realised that there was a high chance I wouldn't make it through the ballot stage, so I started to think about what charity I could run for. I decided on the Terrence Higgins Trust as I spent my first university placement with Social Services County HIV/Aids team, and got to see how how the illness affects people's lives.
HIV and AIDs affects millions of people worldwide, and THT is committed to working towards finding a vaccine, especially one that is suitable for people in third world countries, where HIV and AIDs is a huge problem. By sponsoring me, you could be improving and even saving the lives of millions of people.
