Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.  If you’ve made it this far, I expect by now you’re aware that I am in training to run the London Marathon on Sunday 17th April 2011.  Whilst your support would be most welcome along the streets of the country’s capital, I’m also hoping you’ll extend your generosity to help me raise donations for a very worthy charity, Dreams Come True.   My dream will come true when I run up The Mall but my charity has a slightly different mission, one of bringing joy to children who are terminally or seriously ill by making their treasured dreams come true (for more info see www.dctc.org.uk).   The welfare of children is a cause close to my heart and I cannot begin to imagine the joy Dreams Come True has bought to the 4,500 children that have benefitted from their support in last 20+ years.   My aim is to cross the finish-line knowing that I have done my best pounding the tarmac and having also pounded your pockets ... £2,500 is the target and whatever you can offer will of course be gratefully received.   Thank you kindly.
