Story
Greetings from Carrick!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I know you are all busy people so I shall get straight to it - Molly, Megan and I are all in training for the Dogs Trust Walk on the 18th October 2009. We are hoping to complete the 3 mile course (or maybe the 6 mile course if training goes well) and raise money for all those dogs can't be rehomed but whom Dogs Trust takes care of at their centres all over the UK.
The Holmes family already supports Podge and Jason but for a bunch of very sentimental doggie owners it never seems enough.
Of course I cannot ignore the fact we are in recession but it is in these times that more dogs get abandoned and abused. Any little pennies are appreciated and will be put to good use.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. Even if you are not a UK taxpayer you can still donate you just don't get to claim it as Gift Aid but hopefully this will not put you off donating. Please note donations are anonymous to protect your privacy.
Using my JustGiving page is the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So if you can donate and help support our walk for Dogs Trust - Molly, Megan and I would be very, very grateful and we promise to send you pics of our training progress and on the big day itself.
Thanks for your time and take care.
Molly, Megan, Max, Katherine and the rest of the Holmes family.
