I am running the Bupa Great North Run ( 13.1 miles I hasten to add) on 5th October in aid of Bliss the premature and sick baby charity. This image of Nicole breathing in rhythm to the hiss of a ventilator still haunts me but I also know this equipement saved her life.  

Bliss first came to our attention in the early days of Nicole's stay on the neonatal unit. Their role as advocate for babies and parents helped us understand the needs of our baby and the neonatal world. For anyone who experiences giving birth to a premature or sick baby, this charity is worth its weight in gold.
