When my son was 9, the smartest, most radiant girl in his class was diagnosed with cancer.  She has been so brave and is one of my heroines really.  She is still shiny and delighted in life... even though she is only now, years later, growing her lovely curly hair back. She and her mom have been served by and benefited hugely by CLIC.  I am inspired to run for her and kids like her. Please support this wonderful charity and kids like Meli.
