Story
Marathon number three! I'm running the ING New York City Marathon on November 2nd.
This year I have three goals:
1. Get around the 26.2 mile course without breaking any bones
2. Finish in a decent time (anything under 4hrs 30mins would be grand)
3. Raise as much money as I can for The Disabilities Trust
I'll take care of the first two, but I'm going to need your help with the third.
Training's going well, and I've covered a good number of miles so far, with just a few aches, pains and worn out pairs of trainers to show for it. I'm running for the Disabilities Trust again, having seen the real difference that my donations have made to the residents of The Woodmill http://www.disabilities-trust.org.uk/content.asp?page_id=109. The money I raised in 2006/7 bought the furniture in the pictures!
I'm really grateful for your help in making a difference to people living with acquired brain injury.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Disabilities Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
Cheers,
Kath
