Run to the Beat 2011 · 25 September 2011 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

I am running the Nike-Run to the Beat half marathon (13.1 miles) on the 25th September through London starting and finishing at the 02 Arena.
I decided to take part in this marathon after my cousin (aged 21) suffered from a stroke in February. After seeing how a stroke can affect a person I want to raise awareness and as much money for the charity (The Stroke Association) as possible.

Please give Generously :)

'Does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop'
                                                                               - Confucius
