Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. Not quite sure why (we must be bonkers !), but I and a group of friends, are going to be attempting the UK Three Peaks Challenge on 11 - 12 July 2009. Thanks, by the way, to Tom's company Adjusting Solutions (www.adjustingsolutions.com) for covering some of our expenses for the trip.

For those that don't know, the 'Three Peaks' are Ben Nevis (Scotland), Scafell (the Lake District) and Snowdon (Wales), and the 'challenge' is to climb all three (starting with Ben Nevis and finishing with Snowdon) within 24 hours (including driving between them). The 'team' consists of 4 walkers (Tom, Helen, Nick and myself) and a driver (one of my brothers - Alex).

We have decided that we would like to use this opportunity to raise some money and we have each therefore chosen a charity to support; Tom and Nick have their own 'justgiving' pages, Alex's charity can be found at www.touchstone165.com, Helen is yet to choose hers, and mine is Send A Cow (have a look at their website (sendacow.org.uk) if you would like to find out a bit more about the fantastic things they do).
