The Argus Appeal's objectives are to relieve sickness, poverty, hardship and to provide benefits for lonely, needy old people and underprivileged children and other persons considered appropriate by the trustees in the Sussex area. All funds raised are used to support causes where they can “make a difference”.

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!! Having not sat on a bike since we were 5 years old, we are attempting the 5 day Brighton to Paris Cycle Challenge on 30th July 2008, in aid of the Argus Appeal. (http://www.theargus.co.uk/argusappeal/cyclechallenges/brightontoparis/) We will be aiming to complete over 200 miles on our very own tandem, and with a combined age of well over a century, it will be no mean feat. The Argus Appeal is a brilliant charity which provides relief and support to underprivileged children and the sick and needy elderly. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dig deep and sponsor us with as little or as much as you can. We are hoping to raise £1000 to really make a difference for this charity.
