Story
After being diagnosed by doctors with fibromyalgia 3 months ago, while struggling with day to day actives and feeling like it was all in my head, I was also feeling very alone.
I've decided to do something that isn't simple and easy or pain free! A tattoo for fibromyalgia....something that will remind me to keep fighting!
Fibromyagia causes me daily battles, from getting out of bed or brushing my hair/ teeth, to walking the stairs and of course having a walking stick at times. Being a mother of 3 children 5,3 and 8 months I'm constantly keep on my toes. Even carrying the youngest child can feel like hard work at times, Having to explain to the children that today is give mummy gentle cuddles day because mummy's just too sore. Unfortunately for many other people fibromyalgia is so much worse! Leaving them house bound, and needing constant support from wheelchairs.
This isn't just getting a tattoo, this will be a challenge not just to cope with the pain of a tattoo but the fallout of what fibromyagia will throw at me in the days/ weeks after.
So please sponsor me and help me raise awareness of this debilitating condition.
