Last year, Joe Harris sadly passed away while doing charity work in South Africa. Jarris was a member of Warwick lacrosse which has become a huge part of my life since being at university. He was a well-known member of the club remembered for always having a smile on his face. 

The Dominic Beer Memorial Trust was set up in memory of his uncle and Jarris himself was a patron. This charity focuses on supporting both community and research projects for those suffering from mental illness which is a matter close to my heart.

For this reason, myself, amongst other friends and family, will be taking part in the Stratford Triathlon.
