Hello and welcome to my 3 peaks fund raising page!

If you don't know what it is I'm doing (and I'm starting to wonder whether I've really thought it through!) I will be taking on 3 'mega-structures-of-nature': Scafell Pike, Snowdon and Ben Nevis. It's a kind of David and Goliath feat (x3) as I'll be scaling all 3 within 24 hours - at least that's the aim!

As well as trying to resist the urge to sing 'Climb ev'ry mountain' along the way, I'm also hoping to raise money for the Sheila McKechnie Foundation; a charity set up in memory of a former director of the company I work for, that helps would-be campaigners get their voices heard.

The collective height of the peaks is over 5000ft - that's more than 12 London Eyes (zoicks!) and I'll be travelling it without a pod!! With the only naps to be had taking place on a mini bus the uphill struggles won't be the only challenges I'm facing, but I'm sure your support and the thought of all that lovely charity cash will spur me on to peak number 3!
