OK so I'm not strictly swimming the channel. The challenge is to swim the 22 miles ......over 12 weeks.....in my local swimming pool. Not such a challenge I know BUT still for a very worthy cause. The people who Aspire help are suddenly and permanently paralysed through spinal cord injury. They provide them with specialist equipment and facilties such as crockery, computers, furniture and wheelchairs to help them lead as normal lives as possible.
