Sheffield Half Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

At Bluebell Wood, we care for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions. We support hundreds of families, both in our hospice and in family homes. It costs around £6.7m to keep our doors open for families across South Yorkshire and beyond. We receive 17% Statutory funding.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Jonny and I are running 13 miles through the streets of Sheffield on April 26th and want to raise as much money as possible for BlueBell Hospice. Its going to be hard work and training is tough!

Bluebell  provides care for local children with life threatening and life limiting conditions in South Yorkshire and surrounding areas.

The Hospice is estimated to cost £2.4 million per year, and the government only supplies 4% of this, so the support of the general public is vital.

We wouldn't want to ask for much in these hard times....

BUT its a really good cause and every little helps! So if you can spare a pound or two, please  sponsor us!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
