Story
It is now two years since I lost my only brother Rob, who died suddenly at the age of nineteen. He was a wonderful person and a talented composer / musician.
There is a possibility, that in recognition of his talent, the BBC may use some of Rob's recorded music as soundtrack to this year's Great North Run. This would really mean so much to us all as a family, as we will always strive to keep Rob's memory alive through his music.
Dad and I have therefore decided to take part in the run and try our best to raise as much as we can, in Rob's name, towards a worthwhile charity.
Please view the attached video of the BBC TV News Appeal.
The Percy Hedley Foundation support people with severe disability and learning difficulties. In particular, they are in the process of making provision for a new form of therapy called imuse (interactive music streaming engine) which creates a multi-sensory environment with the use of music.
It would help us a great deal if we thought that money raised in Rob's name was going to such a worthwhile cause associated with music, which was the love of Rob's life.
Those who are kind enough to sponsor us will receive a complimentary copy of one of rob's albums, so please include your address:
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Percy Hedley Foundation gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Many thanks,
Katie and dad
