I am walking/running the Connemarra half marathon this year to raise money for the Frank Haines memorial trust. Frank, Richard's brother, died tragically running the marathon in 2006.
The trust supports youth work in East London, where over 50% of young people live in poverty in some areas. After starting work at the Royal London Hospital I can appreciate just how deprived some of these people are and how much our support is desperately needed.
Last year a team of friends/ family raised over £25,000 for the trust by running/walking the marathon.
I know times are tough but please give generously to this great cause.
