Story
Well, I survived - barely! 50 miles or so, through the Carpathian mountains. The walk was much harder than I had anticipated, involving more mountains than I expected! (The clue was in the name!) But it was all worth it when we reached the Sinai Bear Sanctuary, and saw the bears living safe and happy, and hearing about the sad stories behind each of them.
It's not too late to sponsor me, and help the Sanctaury continue to rescue bears being kept as tourist attractions in tiny, cruel cages and provide them with a safe natural habitat in which to live out the rest of their lives.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: World Society for the Protection of Animals will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Thanks for all your support
