I'm fundraising for the SSC - SAINTS Challenge which will involve a group of 8 youths from the age of 16-18 and 4 adults helping to fundraise in order to build a High Dependency Unit at Chikwawa Hospital in South West Malawi. The H.D.U. will provide specialist care for those at their most vulnerable when critically ill in Malawi. These patients need a lot of extra nursing care and monitoring and this cannot be done on a normal ward.  Without the HDU people will continue to die from illnesses that with the right care attention and facilities they could survive.  As well as fund-raising to pay for the HDU a small group of us will be going on an International Youth Exchange with the St. Andrews International High School (SAINTS) in Malawi in June / July 2011 to help build the H.D.U. and to work with children and young people in the rural villages. 

While we are out there we will be helping out not only with the H.D.U but also in the community with children and the local people. Please donate as much or as little as you can, every little helps.
