The Solo Wannabees are a group of 3 people who have come together to swim the 22 miles of the English Channel as a 3 person relay in July 2009.

I successfully took Part in a six person relay last September, completeing the cold swim in 13 hours, 9 minutes and 50 seconds.
I enjoyed it so much that I decided to up the challenge and pull together a three person relay for July 2009.
Three person relays are a rare achievement and has only been completed 11 times before.
We are training hard to beat the record time of 10 hours and 9 minutes for 3 person relays.

We will be batteling cold water (15-16 degrees C), Jellyfish, Hypothermia and much more. Swimming through one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world.
