Story

Hello! Thank you for clicking through to my fundraising page!

I am running the Bath Half Marathon in March to raise money for the Children's Hospice South West, a charity in my local region which does very valuable work.

This will be my first half marathon (in fact, my first race!) so it would be great to have as much support and raise as much money for the Children's Hospice as possible!

Please sponsor me now - thank you very much!

-UPDATE 02.03.09-

Thanks to everyone for their generosity - I am nearly at my target figure of £200 - if I can exceed this the pain of running over 13 miles will be worthwhile!

Talking of training - I did two 9 mile runs on the weekend and will try and get out again tomorrow. It hurts far more than I think it should be at this stage... I could do with another month or two of training really!

-UPDATE 10.03.09-

Nearly there - just five days to go! And also very nearly at my target figure - if I can pass £200 I will be absolutely thrilled. Thank you so much to all those who have supported me :)

Did a ten mile run in the wind, sleet and hail on Sunday - I really hope the weather on race day is good! Did a short one this morning in the sunshine (much nicer!) and will do one last run on Thursday... and that's it for the training. Fingers crossed it has been enough!
