We're dedicated to beating blood cancer. We fund research and support those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. The day we beat blood cancer is now in sight and our researchers are determined to finish the job.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page for the London Bikeathon in aid of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

Last year I was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. Thankfully I am now in remission and am about to do a pretty crazy thing... Eleven months after I started having chemotherapy I am hoping to cycle in the London Bikeathon and under a week later walk in the London Night Hike.

I plan to cycle 52 miles on Sunday 16 September to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research at the London Bikeathon.  It’s a fantastic charity who are doing valuable research with the aim of beating blood cancers.

You are also welcome to donate money to Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres as well as I will be walking 20 miles at the London Night Hike on Friday 21st September, just under a week after the Night Hike... fingers crossed it doesn't break me! ;) http://www.justgiving.com/katsbigchallenge2

Training for these events is a chance for me to get fit post chemo.

Wish me luck!
