Hi everyone!

We ran the Glasgow Women's 10k on Sunday the 18th of May for Transplants in mind. 

We all completed the run in around about the hour mark, Kirsten was first home in 53 minutes, then Hatty and Katy in 57.01 and 57.21.  Alison was next in 1 hour followed by Lorna in 1 hour and 1 minute and Caroline brought the team home in 1 hour and 4 minutes.  Unfortunately Ruth wasn't able to take part because she was ill. 

We chose to run for Transplants in Mind as a way of helping to raise awareness of organ donation. 

Katy did the run in memory of her friend David Dempster who passed away in April 2008.  David was an organ donor and so far his liver and his heart have saved 2 people's lives.

Although our event is now over, please continue to donate to Transplants in Mind through our page, which remains active until August.
