A Cross Channel Kayak · 15 September 2014

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. We’re striving for a cure, by revolutionising the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia.

Story

Dear All.

Update - 17/09/2014

We did it yesterday!!!!! It took us around 8 hours due to ridiculous tidal conditions and a slightly aggressive swell. But we did it and are feeling very proud. It was brutal and most of us still feel like we're on the sea. If we ever see a kayak again it will be soon! Please dig deep. We're really hoping to make £10,000 for Alzheimer's research UK

On one day between the 15th & 22nd of September (weather dependent), Nick Rubin, Jonny Levy, Jamie Levy, Josh Metliss, Justin Sloggett, Michael Cavanagh and James Griffiths will be kayaking c 19 miles across the English Channel for Alzheimer's Research UK
