Wow, I can't believe I am representing the UK at this amazing event once again - I am so thrilled! I have taken part in the British Transplant Games since 1989 when I was two years old! My event was 'Throw the Welly and I won Gold! Since 1989, I have taken part in 14 British Transplant Games and I have represented the UK Team twice before at the WTG, Nancy 2003 and Canada 2005. I am training hard for Badminton, Track and Relay in Thailand as the competition is very high however the most important element for me is the ability to raise awareness for Organ Donation so others can have the same chance of life as I have. Transplants Save Lives and we must do all we can to promote this message to everyone!

I can't remember my heart transplant as I was a tiny baby so transplantation has always been a big part of my life. I was the first successful baby to have a new heart in the UK and because of this - I have been able to influence the media and promote transplantation many times, locally and nationally to raise awareness - I hope to capture their attention once again by representing the UK In Thailand at this special event. And hopefully by winning a medal!

My personal target is £2000 to attend however please dig deeply so I can reach my target of £3000, as I would like to give back to TSUK to show how much participation has meant to me for so many years. I love my life and my fellow transplant team mates are amazing and are also alive and well due to the kindness of other people donating organs at a time of sorrow in their own lives-The Gift of Life, so precious to me and my family.
