Hi Everyone,
Due to an unfortunate accident whilst coming back down Mount Etna, I broke my ankle back in July, then Suzanne had some unforseen problems which meant we made the decision to postpone our Trek. We're still going but we'll now be heading off on the 18th October 2008 instead! Fingers crossed we don't get anymore delays!
Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Suzanne Amos and I are raising money for Breast Cancer Care Scotland and CLAN (Cancer Link for Aberdeen and North) throughout the year. We're taking part/organising various events including: a Fashion Show DVD Night (2nd May), Edinburgh Moonwalk (Full & Half Marathon - 16th June), Race For Life (5km - 24th June), a Race Night (8th September), and finally we're trekking the Great Wall of China in September!
Both charities do such wonderful work and rely completely on donations from the public. Suzanne and I feel passionately about both charities as they have provided a huge amount of support, information and advice which we have benefited from. Not only do they provide such services to those who've had a Cancer diagnosis, but also to their families, friends and carers and we would like to show our appreciation by doing this trek for them.

The trek itself will begin at the Black Dragon Pools National Park and finish at the Simatai Section of the Great Wall. We will trek for 5 days, completing approx. 10-12km per day.
