Story
In September I will be sky diving to raise awareness and hopefully funds for Ataxia UK. I have never sky-dived before, and have quite a big fear of heights and free falling (not a good combination here I think).
Why am I doing this? Well, not too long ago, my little cousin Millie, was diagnosed with a rare form of Ataxia. It's already completley changed her life - she's had to have several major operations, including steel rods inserted into her back to help straighten her spine, and it already means she can't always attend school as she's too unwell or tired.
Throughout it all Millie has been such an inspiration to everyone around her, always smiling and with an amazing sense of humour.
In our own way, we all want to do something, to show our solidarity with Millie in her struggle with Ataxia, however small in comparison to her braveness.
If you'd like to find out more about Millie, visit her website Millie Mae's World by clicking here.
Please, please help me to raise at least the minimum donation of £390.
I'm also hoping to get sponsership for the shirt I'll wear during my dive - any interest in me wearing your logo on my fall for a donation to Ataxia UK please get in touch!
