Parkinson’s UK did a wonderful job in helping me to understand and come to terms with my diagnosis. The research they fund is doing much to benefit current and future sufferers. I have learned a lot from their research conferences and other events. Who would have guessed that ‘a roller coaster a day keeps the need for drugs at bay’?

My challenges for 2023 include a 320 mile cycle tour of the Outer Hebrides, Skye and part of the Scottish mainland in May. The following month I hope to complete the 100k Peak District Ultra Challenge.
