The cycle is approx 450miles long and we are taking a week to do it (May 10th to 17th 2008)
MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE EVENT HERE
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. The fundraising is pretty hard work and every penny is greatly appreciated, and if anyone can think of any event ideas or would like to help out that would be excellent.
UPDATES ABOUT FUNDRAISING EVENTS
If you look at the top of the page you can see that we hit our original fundraising target!!! HOWEVER that doesn't mean that we are going to stop trying to raise money. We still have a few big fundraising events to go so we hope to smash the totals we already have........is £5000 between us too much to hope for, as that's what we are now aiming for!
18th Dec 2007 - Bag-packing in Marks & Spencer at the Abbey Centre. This raised £540 in just 4 hours!!! Thanks to all our helpers as well as the staff and customers of M&S.
26th Dec 2007 - Party and raffle at my parents house in Aviemore - This went really well raising approx £200. Thank you to everyone who was there and to my parents for organising the event!
5th Jan 2008 - I sat on a Turbo-trainer (stationary bike,) for 6 hours in Tesco, Ballymena while Katie, Debbie and Stacy were bag-packing. This raised a huge £992!!! Thank you to Tescos for letting us do this and to everyone who donated and helped out on the day.
12th Jan 2008 - We rode a Turbo-trainer for 7 hours in the middle of the Tower Centre in Ballymena and £694 was donated. So another big thank you to everyone who donated.
21st Feb 2008 - A showing of 'Back to the Future' in a private cinema (Please contact either of us if you want tickets for this - there is a limited number and they are £7 each.)
Training is going well as I have given up the car for the commute to work and am taking my bike in it's place (except when the weather is really bad!)
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
Keith
P.S. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Marie Curie Cancer Care will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
