Story
Keith was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma in the year 2000. With the benefit of modern treatment and the dedication of the medical profession, and also his tenacity not to be beaten, he survived for seven years. He would have wanted to benefit medical research in some way and this is our way of contributing.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate. The Lymphoma Research Trust will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
The Lymphoma Research Trust is a registered charity (no. 263424) which supports research into the treatment of lymphoma. It makes grants to medical researchers at the Lymphoma Trials Office who organise clinical trials and operate a database with over 18,000 patients on it.
The database contains details of patients’ treatments and annual follow-ups, and provides a valuable record of the outcome of different treatments for lymphomas. The clinical trials assess whether new treatments work better than existing ones, and test different combinations of treatments to see which are most effective. The information gained from these trials improves our knowledge of lymphoma and enables patients to be treated more effectively. The UCL Cancer Trials Unit website can be found here:
