Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. My nephew, Iain Goodwill was killed, aged 17 months, in a tragic accident in October 2007. Iain was idolised by his two older brothers, treasured by his parents and adored by all who knew him. The waste of our little star's life at such a young age has shocked and devasted us all. In Iain's memory I am undertaking a charity cycle tour around the coast of Scotland in April 2008, with my friend Robbie Wilson (who is raising money for the Yorkhill Children's Foundation) and several other able bodied volunteers. I will start the cycle in Oban, continue up the west coast past Ullapool, along the top of Scotland to John o Groats and aim to finish at Tain 6 days later, a total distance of around 600 miles (1000km). The money I raise will be given to the charity RoSPA who are working closely with Iain's parents to prevent young children being accidentally injured and killed around motor vehicles.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: The Royal Society For The Prevention Of Accidents will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.
If you can't give through credit card payment please send cheques made payable to "RoSPA" to :- Keith's Charity Cycle, 8 Kellyburn Park, DOLLAR, FK147AD. Please donate generously to help prevent other young lives being needlessly wasted in accidents involving motor vehicles. Please ensure that there is at least one positive outcome from the tragic death of our Little Star.
Many thanks for your support. "Death lies on him like an untimely frost, Upon the sweetest flower of all the field"
