During the months of July and August 2008, I am planning to cycle across America, starting at Oceanside, California on the west coast and finishing over 3,000 miles later on the east coast, at the First Landing Site, Virginia.
My two chosen charities for this challenge are Cancer Research UK and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance.
The brief plan for the challenge consists of flying out of the UK on Saturday 19th July 2008, cycling the 3,116 miles from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean, and then returning to the UK on Sunday 31st August 2008.
