So here's the idea. In April, i'm going to walk about 800km along the Way of St James (El Camino de Santiago) with Richard Stockdale. The Journey will start at St. Jean Pied du Port in France, cross the Pyrenees and head west across the north of Spain to Sanitago, and then finally to Finisterre (the 'end of the world') on the west coast. That's over a million steps.
There are only four rules:
1. The walk starts in St Jean Pied de Port.
2. The walk ends on the beach at Finisterre.
3. The entire distance is to be covered on foot (except in cases of emergency).
4. All kit will be carried.
When I finish I will buy some new socks, wash the sweat from my skin and have a long sleep in a confortable bed.
