I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year in support of my gorgeous niece Shannon Thompson. This week our family had the worst news we could ever imagine. Shannon has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, news that has devastated not only our family but all our friends too. Shannon is a very strong and positive young lady and she is taking this news in her stride. She is an inspiration to me  and I know she will fight this heartbreaking diagnosis.  Positivity is on my mind so to support my Shanny I have set up a very special group called "Shannon's Angels" to run the race of life and would really appreciate if family and friends can sponsor us and raise awareness of this horrible disease.
