Run for Moore - Blackheath · 2 July 2006 ·

Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

As a West Ham fan & friend to a cancer patient this seemed like a great charity.

I'm not much of a runner in fact I've never run a 5k before but then I'd never abseiled before either on account of my vertigo. That didn't stop me and I managed to raise £350.00 in 2004.

To be honest if I tried to run a 10k I would cost the NHS more than I could raise.

I'm delighted by the response so far and as it has been requested I will indeed do the run in a kilt.

Me in my kilt

..and no I'm not Scottish and yes I will be wearing pants on the day
