From its foundation in 1876, The Whitechapel Mission continues caring for the poor and homeless of London regardless of race or religion, in their struggle against hunger, poverty, disease, prejudice and exclusion.

Story

Hello all

It's that time of year again and we're a bit more hi-tech with a web page this year.

It's the usual pitch : Whitechapel do great work and really need your support (Google them for a look at their website).  In exchange for your cash, I'll run the London 10k as fast as my wee legs will carry me.

As with last year, once you've collectively put up the first £500, I'll match it with another £500.  We did £2,200 last year, so let's beat that, people !

If you need any more motivation to sponsor me, I was told last September to stop running because my right knee is held together with sellotape, chewing gum and crossed fingers so this is the only running I do anymore and it will hurt like hell if I'm going to hit 45 minutes !

Hands in pockets please, folks, and thanks in advance.

Kenny
