Story
My son Ewan died of cancer last February. He was 27. It was an awful experience for him to be told there was no cure for his cancer. He could not have surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy. I am going to do a sponsored swim as a tribute to him and the amazing courage he showed as he fought this disease. The funds will be donated to Cancer Research in the hope that this will help to protect other people from what Ewan had to suffer. I intend to swim 1 mile, which is 66 lengths of the local swimming pool. This event will take place on Thursday 25 June 2009. It would be wonderful if you could support me in this. Thank you very much.
Maybe it's about time I starting learning to swim!
