Thank you for visiting Advantage Africa's Kenya Emergency Appeal. Funds raised though the appeal will be used to support vulnerable people in one of our partner communities in Siaya District seriously affected by the violence and insecurity following Kenya's disputed Presidential election.
There is widespread fear and emerging hunger as supplies of food and fuel run low and prices of basic commodities in rural areas have more than doubled. Our partner in Kenya is providing food, medical care and emotional support to those most affected in their locality.
Any funds raised over and above the amount required to respond to the current crisis will be used towards longer term initiatives with disadvantaged people in the same community, including orphans and people living with AIDS.
