I have a few reasons why I am participating this year.  Over the last few years I have seen lives in turmoil because of this awful disease.

My Nan was taken from us far too early and never got the chance to see some of her grandchildren marry or meet her lovely great-grandchildren.

My sister's best friend is also currently fighting this disease and no matter what life throws at her she remains strong for her family.  We need to find raise as much money as possible to help fight this!
