Those that know me well know that I don't like getting my hair wet or my mascara running in the pool!  The only swimming I do is to a poolside bar to sit and admire the view whilst drinking a cocktail with my sunglasses on!!  My gorgeous daughter Molly in her wish to get fit and healthy has decided to take on the Aspire Channel Swim 2017 and I have said I will do it too in support of her. This involves swimming the distance of the Channel over 12 weeks to raise money for Aspire. Every eight hours someone is paralysed by a Spinal Cord Injury and Aspire provides the essential equipment, advice, housing and grants that spinal cord injured people need to live their lives independently. This is a big challenge for both of us but the more we raise, the more of a difference we will make, so please be generous!
